Plastic recycling on farm

Thousands of tonnes of agricultural plastics such silage and binder twine are consumed in SA annually. Most of this plastic is either burned, buried or left in the paddock. Now there is a trial supported by the Adelaide MT Lofty Ranges NRM Board to recycle this plastic and turn it into useful farm products. The trial is being conducted in partnership with Dairy SA, Fleurieu landholders, TAPEX and the Fleurieu Regional Waste Authority. Watch the story at
