Overview

Nature-based Solutions (NbS) use nature and healthy ecosystems to deliver benefits for people and nature at the same time. They are actions to protect, sustainably manage, and restore natural and modified ecosystems in a way that targets major societal challenges. These challenges include things like climate change, disaster risk reduction, food and water security, biodiversity loss and human health.

This collection provides an overview of the basics of NbS: what are they, where are they, and how can they help us.
