Learn about the culture of rainforest Aboriginal people, and how traditional ecological knowledge is being blended with modern science in the land management work being undertaken by Indigenous ranger programs. This trip also includes the Mandingalbay Hands On Country Indigenous boat tour from Cairns through the mangrove forests, where you will discover the native foods, bush medicines and ancient Aboriginal traditions, customs, and artefacts of the Mandingalbay Yidinji people.
