Australia’s Natural Resource Management (NRM) sector represents a unique national infrastructure of interlinked, regionally embedded expertise and capability for improving landscape resilience. With regions facing increasing exposure to natural hazards (including cyclones, storms, floods, wildfires and drought) many NRM regional organisations embed disaster resilience more explicitly into their core planning and programs, including through nature-based approaches.
