As Manager of the Environmental Water Resources Program at North East Catchment Management Authority (CMA), Catherine leads strategic and operational initiatives to deliver and protect environmental water across Victoria’s North East region.
With a strong focus on collaboration and working closely with Traditional Owners, government agencies, water authorities, and community stakeholders to advance key programs including the Victorian Governments Water is Life: Traditional Owner Access to Water Roadmap.
As an advocate for integrated catchment management, Catherine’s position ensures environmental water objectives are embedded within broader river, wetland, and groundwater strategies, supporting North East CMA’s obligations under the Victorian Water Act. A recent highlight includes partnering with Duduroa Dhargal Aboriginal Corporation to deliver water to the Ryans Lagoon wetland complex, helping restore its natural hydrological regime and cultural significance.
