Professor John Woinarski is an esteemed conservation researcher, and was Deputy Chair of the Australian Government’s Wildlife and Threatened Species Bushfire Recovery Expert Panel in 2020. He led a large collaboration reviewing the consequences for biodiversity of the 2019-20 fires and the national response. Here he presents a summary of those findings to the NRM Regions Australia Bushfire Recovery Community of Practice.
