Wonderful  offering of conferences on conservation and land management this spring

Recognition that protecting, stewarding and restoring Australia’s natural places and resources requires all ‘hands on deck’

This spring NRM Regions Australia,  Landcare Australia, and Australian Land Conservation Alliance will each host a national conference — creating exciting opportunities to connect, learn, and drive large-scale impact.

Our organisations are part of a diverse and overlapping network of people, communities and groups contributing unique expertise and approaches to achieve lasting environmental and social outcomes for all Australians.

As political, social and environmental landscapes continue to change, there is a growing recognition that protecting, stewarding and restoring Australia’s natural places and resources requires all ‘hands on deck’.

While each conference has its own focus in addressing conservation and land management challenges and responding to new opportunities, there is congruence in the conferences’ objectives and a deep commitment to driving outcomes for people and nature at all three events.

By coordinating our conference planning, we are responding to an overwhelming appetite for expanded access to knowledge and networks — which underpin our individual and collective efforts in supporting healthy and resilient communities, livelihoods, and economies.

We look forward to welcoming you at one or more of these events and sparking new conversations and collaborations!
