I have been working on the Kangaroo Island Feral Cat Eradication Program since 2020, with a recent focus on innovative control and monitoring technologies. My work has involved the use of 4G enabled cameras and AI-based image processing to tackle the challenge of monitoring feral cats in a large and complex landscape. I’m particularly interested in how to leverage emerging technology to do more for conservation and invasive species control.
