Natarsha Bell is a proud Traditional Woman with ancestral ties to the Western Yalanji, Kullilli Bulloo, Pitta Pitta, and Kalkadoon nations through her mother, and Kunjen, Gugu Yimithirr, and Wakka Wakka peoples through her father. Born of strong cultural lineage and deep connection to Country, Natarsha brings a wealth of experience in Indigenous leadership, community development, and cultural advocacy.
With over two decades of professional experience across education, pastoral care, hospitality, and natural resource management, Natarsha currently serves as the Cultural Broker at Gulf Savannah NRM. In this role, she facilitates engagement with Traditional Owner groups to support their aspirations for Country, ensuring cultural knowledge guides environmental planning and decision-making.
Natarsha has held positions as a course lecturer at Wontulp Bi-Buya College, pastoral minister, team leader in early childhood education initiatives, and managed an Indigenous-focused restaurant. Her leadership is grounded in cultural integrity, governance, and care for people and Country.
As the Cultural Broker at Gulf Savannah NRM, Natarsha contributes strong community ties, strategic vision, and a lifelong commitment to self-determination and cultural strength for her people.
