Troy Clarkson is the Director of the Soil Strategies and Programs Team with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Troy was involved with the development of the National Soil Strategy, and now his team delivers against the priority actions of the National Soil Action Plan.
Troy’s experience working for NSW and Victorian state governments from 1998 to 2013 delivering soil extension services and other regional programs provides a practical on the ground basis for his work.
Since 2013, he’s helped deliver key Australian Government programs including the Rural Financial Counselling Service, National Landcare Program and Carbon Farming Futures.
