This project supports landholders to better manage the challenges of a changing and highly variable climate. Across the region, producers are already experiencing the impacts of more extreme weather, including drought, heat and unpredictable rainfall, making informed decision-making and adaptive management increasingly important.
This project works directly with landholders to strengthen their capacity to respond to these conditions through practical, on-ground support, training and access to climate information. By building knowledge, improving land management practices and encouraging collaboration, the project helps producers adopt sustainable approaches that protect natural resources while maintaining productivity.
A key focus is supporting long-term resilience – ensuring landscapes remain healthy, soils are maintained, and businesses are better prepared for future climate variability. Through partnerships with industry, researchers and community, the project contributes to a more resilient regional economy while empowering landholders to make confident, forward-looking decisions for their properties and the broader landscape.
