Supporting species to thrive in Brigalow country

  • Context: Regional

FBA is working to improve the resilience of Brigalow Country by addressing key threats to nationally listed Brigalow Threatened Ecological Communities and the threatened species that rely on them. This work focuses on managing fire in collaboration with First Nations peoples, controlling feral animals, managing stock access and restoring important habitat features across the landscape. By combining on-ground action with basin-wide modelling and research, FBA is helping fill critical knowledge gaps and support the long-term recovery of brigalow communities and the unique wildlife they shelter.
