Better Farms leads Bega to circular economy

This project provides an example of a unique partnership between private enterprise, community and government that potentially could be replicated throughout regional Australia. Bega Cheese and South East Local Land Services are building on the successful Better Farms program to progress a 10-year circular economy plan for the Bega Valley that includes a circular co-operative; a Bega biodiversity and carbon trading desk; an on-farm smart water storage network; the Bega smart food and logistics program; and a regional circularity baseline assessment of material flows.
