The Centre for Invasive Species Solutions (CISS) is a not-for-profit, member-based organisation formed to address the impact of invasive plants and animals across Australia.
Hosted by NRM Regions Australia in August 2025, with presentations from all the National Pest Coordinators.
Better coordination at a regional, state and national level has been identified by NRM practitioners as a key need in our engagement with you. Coordination is a critical success factor for managing established invasive species (such as feral cats, foxes, rabbits, wild pigs and feral deer), and responding to new biosecurity incursions.
In response, NRM Regions Australia has arranged an ‘In the Tent with NRM’ lunchtime webinar to introduce the broader NRM network to the national pest coordinators – kind of like Power Rangers for pests, there are coordinators for Feral Cat and Fox, Feral Pigs, Wild Dogs, Deer and Rabbits. Come and meet them and the team from the Centre for Invasive Species Solutions who guide a lot of their work.
