The inaugural NBS Annual Report presents a consolidated record of progress against NBS priority
areas. Specifically, the report provides a progress update on implementation of the NBS Action Plan
to December 2025, summarising activities at different stages of delivery (Appendix A) and supporting
complementary activities across the national biosecurity system (Appendix B). Information has been
compiled from NBS Action Plan activity leads, the NBC and with other reporting mechanisms. This
report provides information to support ongoing NBS monitoring and evaluation.
