Response to the public consultation on the proposed Strategy for Nature and the central role regional NRM organisations can play in the implementation of the Strategy.
NRM Regions Australia put forward, in response to the discussion paper on “Implementing Australia’s Strategy for Nature 2024-2030”, how regional NRM organisations are well positioned to support the delivery of the objectives under the Strategy for Nature from an integrated landscape-scale approach along with suggestions for strengthening the plan and its implementation.
Regional NRM organisations are central to the planning, coordination and delivery of on-ground conservation and environmental restoration programs and this work relates to all target areas identified in the Strategy for Nature.
