Response to DCCEEW's exposure draft of the NES for environmental offsets and associated policy paper.
NRM Regions Australia put forward, in response to the consultation, proposed amendments to the exposure draft to include a principle within the NES for Environmental Offsets that requires due consideration of landscape scale, context and integration when making decisions, and the value of aligning the implementation of offsets projects with regional NRM planning.
