Response to DCCEEW's exposure draft of the NES for Matters of National Environmental Significance and associated policy paper.
NRM Regions Australia put forward in response to the consultation proposed amendments to the exposure draft to include a principle requiring consideration of landscape scale, context and integration when applying the mitigation hierarchy, and the value of aligning the implementation of projects with regional NRM planning, to enable better outcomes for MNES.
