Response to DCCEEW's consultation on amending the Rules for offsets through the Nature Repair Market.
The submission highlights the need for including a requirement within the Rules for all project proponents to provide a statement on the consistency of their Nature Repair projects with regional NRM planning, and for offsets-capable projects compensating for the permanent loss of biodiversity elsewhere, to be permanently protected.
