This report provides a guideline for using Nature-based Solutions to manage risks from coastal hazards in Australia. It provides an overview of different NbS that man be used, considerations for their use, and exploration of how NbS can be used alongside ‘traditional’ engineering approaches. It also discusses benefit-cost analysis of different methods, and policy and legislative settings.
