Sarah brings more than 20 years of executive and senior leadership experience across agriculture, community development and education, with a career that spans local, national and international influence.
Sarah is Chair of the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority  and is the Executive Officer of the Victorian Farmers Markets Association. Sarah also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Australian Dairy Collective and sits on the National Farmers’ Federation Telecommunications and Social Policy Committee.
Her leadership extends well beyond Australia by representing VFMA within the World Farmers Markets Coalition, a UN FAO project, and has contributed internationally through the UN Commission on the Status of Women, as well as through an NFF farmer delegation to France.
Sarah holds a Masters in Agriculture & Rural Development and a Bachelor of Leisure Studies. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed the NFF Diversity in Ag Leadership Program. In recognition of her contribution to rural leadership, she was named the 2022 Australian Farmer Rural Community Leader of the Year and is a former finalist for Victorian Rural Woman of the Year.
Alongside her governance and executive roles, Sarah and her husband Raymond manage Glencliffe, an irrigated dairy farm recognised for Illawarra genetics and global exports.
Sarah’s pathway reflects how deep sector experience, community leadership and strategic governance combine to create influence — and how women can build enduring seats at decision-making tables across agriculture.
