Integrated land management (ILM) involves the interrelated and holistic planning at an appropriate place-based scale to protect and restore Australia’s natural resources while recognising the importance of communities and productivity.

We rely on these natural resources to provide essential services such as food, water, clean air, and health and wellbeing; and for regulating climate, absorbing waste, and preventing disease.
