Northern and Yorke Landscape Board (LB) have installed four Pix Stix – installations that allow community members to take a photo from the same location – at key coastal sites to track how coastlines are changing and adapting. Northern & Yorke LB can then detect changes like early weed incursions, dune movement, erosion after storms, and event environmental events like algal blooms, over time.
Funded by South Australian government and supported by the Yorke Peninsula Council, the Pix Stix sites enable communities to be active in supporting solutions to build the health and resilience of our coast-scapes.
