Central West Local Land Services Farm Adapt 2 benchmarking project aims to boost farm profitability and sustainability by establishing strong, long-term peer-based networks to drive business improvement, optimise production and drive participation in protection of on-farm natural capital assets.

Funded by the Australian Government’s Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program, the project includes production-based training and benchmarking workshops, facilitation of benchmarking groups, setting up demonstration sites, and providing individual reports to participating farmers. Training will include promoting awareness of the technologies that are reshaping farming across regional NSW, including virtual fencing, grain innovation, beef sustainability and autonomous machinery.
