Territory Natural Resource Management (NRM) and the Mulloon Institute delivered a ‘Boots on Ground Landscape Rehydration Field Day’ at Eva Valley Meats through their Communities of Practice project. The June event brought together over 25 participants from the greater Darwin region, including producers, industry representatives, and local community members.
The field day focused on building the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan, design, and implement landscape rehydration projects using low-risk, nature-based solutions to improve drought resilience. Funded by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund, the day explored techniques to slow, spread, and infiltrate surface water across the landscape.
