Mallee CMA recently delivered two events to support farmers to better understand soil carbon, soil health and emissions.
Funded by the Australian Government as part of the Victorian Carbon Farming Outreach Program, the online and in-person events provided information on soil carbon in low‑rainfall farming systems, including links between carbon, emissions and farm productivity, carbon markets, how soil constraints impact productivity, and management options suited to Mallee soils.
