Limestone Coast Landscape Board (LB) is providing grant funding to landholders to deliver on-ground works that improve biodiversity and provide co-benefits for primary production under their Habitat Conservation Grants. Activities include planting shelterbelts, fencing remnant vegetation, protecting and establishing paddock trees, and protecting wetlands.
Limestone Coast LB’s Bush Management Adviser Vanessa Freebairn said the grant program supports landholders to deliver long-term sustainable primary production projects.
“It’s encouraging to see ongoing landholder interest in revegetation and protection of native habitats. Projects like this provide primary production benefits while increasing biodiversity across the landscape.” Vanessa said.
